Statement of the ministry of Foreign Affairs
|
|
|
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary was
shocked by the series of coordinated assassinations committed in
Israel, which caused the death of eight people and wounded
numerous others, some of them seriously.
The Ministry condemns forcefully these assassinations. We
strongly believe that terrorist attacks do not serve the purpose
of reconciliation, and escalate tensions in the region. The
Ministry deeply hopes that further deterioration of the
situation can be avoided, and efforts will continue to restart
of the Israeli-Palestine peace negotiations with a view to
reaching of a just and enduring peace.
