Hungary Opens Honorary Consulate in Utah
 

Mr. Balázs Bokor, the Hungarian Consul General in Los Angeles, and Mr. Viktor Szederkényi, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Hungary, presented Mr. George Simon with the official documents of his appointment as Hungary’s Honorary Consul in Salt Lake City. Mr. Bokor and Mr. Szederkényi presented the new Honorary Consul to the officials of the state of Utah.

While Mr. Simon has already begun his work, the Hungarian government is planning a ceremonial opening of the new Honorary Consulate in February 2008 in Salt Lake City with the participation of Ambassador Somogyi and other Hungarian and U.S. notabilities.
