Ambassador and Mrs. Somogyi Host Rotary International Night

Ambassador Ferenc Somogyi and Mrs. Andrea Bors Somogyi hosted the 28th Annual International Night sponsored by the Potomac-Bethesda Rotary Club.

The MC of the evening, Neil Cohen, greeted the audience and introduced the host. Ambassador Somogyi delivered welcoming remarks, which were followed by "Hungary in 3D," a video about the country. The Club's District Governor, Rich Carson, outlined the aims of the Club and the Ambassadorial Scholars program.

Chef Bernard Henry, a member of the club, prepared a delicious dinner with his colleagues for this special occasion. The dinner included goulash, a well-known Hungarian specialty.

After the dinner, the MC introduced each of this year's Rotary Ambassadorial Scholars. The
Potomac-Bethesda Rotary Club sponsors nine scholars from a number of countries this year who study at the area's leading universities: American, George Washington, Georgetown, Howard and Maryland University. Each scholar gave a short presentation about their experiences here.
