Ambassador Hosts National Opera's "Macbeth" Cast Party

Ambassador András Simonyi and Mrs. Náda P. Simonyi hosted a Cast Party at their Residence in honor of the Washington National Opera. The Ambassador, speaking to the guests, emphasized:
the Washington National Opera is successful through the excellence of its performances, the number and quality of its new productions, its discovery and nurturing of young talents. Director Plácido Domingo plays an essential role in promoting Washington National Opera’s mission to bring the highest quality opera to the widest possible audience. The Ambassador said special thanks to the stars of the evening: Director Paolo Miccichè, Conductor Renato Palumbo, Lado Ataneli (Macbeth), Paoletta Marrocu (Lady Macbeth) and the whole cast.
