A Letter of Condolences

The Ambassador of Hungary to the U.S., András Simonyi, Mrs. Simonyi, and the entire Embassy staff, express their shock and deep sorrow over the Virginia Tech shooting that happened on April 16, 2007. They would like to offer their condolences to the families of the 32 victims of this horrible crime. The Embassy of Hungary is appalled at such violent acts at one of America’s finest higher education institutions where several Hungarian and Hungarian American students have studied and are currently studying.
