Ambassador Somogyi Visits InnoHungary Technology Center, Fairfax County Economic Development Authority


Ambassador Ferenc Somogyi has recently visited InnoHungary Technology and its partner, the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) and met its top management. Later, the Ambassador accompanied by Dr. Istvan Foldesi, Director of InnoHungary and President of InterAccess, Inc.  met Ms. Bobbie Kilberg, the President of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and members of its International Committee. President Kilberg spoke highly of the activity and achievements of InnoHungary and promised further support for this Hungarian initiative..Ambassador Somogyi suggested cooperation between the Hungarian  trade association, IVSZ (Informatikai Vállalkozások Szövetsége, Hungarian Association of IT Companies) and NVTC. His idea was warmly welcomed by all parties, and NVTC’s International Committee and InnoHungary will launch a comprehensive program to this end.

InnoHungary Technology Center (InnoHungary) was created by the Hungarian Government in cooperation with the State of Virginia and Fairfax County. InnoHungary's mission is to help foster business relations between American and Hungarian enterprises in the field of IT, Telecommunications, bio and nanotechnology. ITDH sponsors the InnoHungary project on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and Transport. InnoHungary acts as a central point of information and mediator for companies from both sides interested in establishing cooperation and alliances in the other country.
