Embassy Bids Farewell To Ambassador András Simonyi and Mrs. Náda P. Simonyi

The Staff of the Embassy of Hungary bid farewell to Ambassador András Simonyi and his wife, Náda Peják Simonyi. The Ambassador and Náda arrived in Washington DC five years ago, after the 9/11 attacks in 2001.

On behalf of the entire staff of the Embassy, DCM Viktor Szederkényi thanked Ambassador Simonyi and Náda P. Simonyi for their relentless efforts in advancing U.S.-Hungarian relations and for their personal kindness in the past five years. The staff presented a certificate to the Ambassador, giving him the "official title" of Rock & Roll Ambassador.

Safe voyage and our very best wishes!
