Opening of the Hungarian Art Collection of Ambassador Nancy

Ambassador András Simonyi and his wife, Náda attended the
opening gala of the exhibition „Hungarian Artists: Works of Passion,
Interludes, and Progress” to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure on
July 28, 2007 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mihály Munkácsy: The Drum
The paintings were displayed by Nancy Goodman Brinker, a
devoted collector of Hungarian art, who
began her collection while serving as the US Ambassador to Hungary
from 2001 to 2003, after being “struck by the richness and powerful
quality of Hungarian painting."

László Fehér: Self Portrait with
Staircase
The paintings will be on display from July 29 – August 20,
2007 in The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage.
