Ambassador visits Kennebunkport, meets former
President Bush
Ambassador Simonyi and Mrs. Simonyi paid a visit to
Kennebunkport, Maine at the invitation of former ambassador to Hungary
Herbert Walker and his wife Carol. The visit included a benefit concert for
the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust at its capital Campaign Kickoff
Reception under the patronage of former President George H.W. Bush and
Mrs.Barbara Bush. The ambassador’s band the Coalition of the Willing played
at the Colony Hotel for an audience of 150 people, which was opened and
attended by frmr.President Bush, Chairman Lyman Paige and Exec Director Tom
Bradbury. Ambassador Simonyi and his wife Nada paid a visit to Frmr.
President Bush at Walker’s Point. The President invited the Simonyis and
friends Dan Poneman and Lincoln Bloomfield for a ride in his boat.
