Mrs. Somogyi Hosts Spouses of European Ambassadors for Luncheon - Chef Lázár Teaches How to be a "Master of Lobster"

 

Mrs. Andrea Bors Somogyi, wife of the Hungarian Ambassador hosted the spouses of European Ambassadors for luncheon at the Hungarian Embassy.

The event began with cocktails.  Every arriving lady or gentleman was welcomed with a glass of Appletini (made according to the Chef Lázár's own recipe).

Before the luncheon, Chef Lázár held a cooking lesson and demonstration. The participants each were given a unique task in preparing the luncheon. All the spouses received an apron especially made for the occasion. The main course was lobster.

Afterwards, the spouses sat down to have a three-course meal served with outstanding Hungarian wines and a little description of each course by Chef Lázár.

At the end of the luncheon, Mrs. Andrea Bors Somogyi presented participants with the "Master of Lobster" and the "Outstanding Gastronomical Talent" certificates.
