representative, Dr. Ilona Vass, Vice President of the National Office for
Research and Technology, gave an account of recent reorganization of the
Hungarian innovation system and the Hungarian expectations regarding the
High Tech Project.

Commission activities, the Center for Strategic and International Studies
(CSIS), organized a separate session with the Hungarian delegation to
discuss the details of our common project with a view to developing
cooperation for the advancement of high technology and increasing joint
research and investment in the areas of IT, biotechnology and
pharmaceuticals.
A conference on the results of bilateral
work teams will take place in Budapest in June 2005.
