Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner,
Jr. (R-WI) Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of
Representatives met with Ambassador András Simonyi today.
They discussed several aspects of
Hungarian - U.S. bilateral relations, especially the importance of
people-to-people contacts and the possibilities of cooperation in the
successful completion of the visa road map, with a view to facilitating
the free and legitimate travel of persons between their countries. They
also discussed issues pertaining to homeland security and the close
cooperation between Hungary and the U.S. in the fight against terrorism.
