Ambassador Meets Governor Jeb Bush

 

The Ambassador and Under Secretary of State Paula Dobriansky paid a visit to Tallahassee, Florida and met with Governor Jeb Bush. The Governor in the midst of preparations for a hurricane, which was set to hit land this morning met with the Ambassador at the Governor’s Command Center. The guests met with the Governor’s team who are responsible for emergency preparedness. Ms. Dobriansky and the Ambassador told the Governor about the efforts of Hungary to share its experience in democratic transformation, including the activities of the International Center for Democratic Transition in Budapest.

The Ambassador presented Governor Bush the commemorative coin minted on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the 1956 revolution. He also gave the Governor a T-Shirt of the Coalition of the Willing rock band.
