Ambassador Speaks at the Atlantic Council

 

Ambassador Simonyi spoke today at the Atlantic Council as part of the Intern Discussion Series, an ongoing program that gives interns and young professionals working at the Council the opportunity to discuss current political and international issues with leading scholars, diplomats, and government officials.  Ambassador Simonyi spoke of his country's role as a member of NATO and the EU, as well as the strategic necessity of a strong trans-Atlantic partnership. Ambassador Simonyi is the Vice President of the Hungarian Atlantic Council.
