Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs Paula J.
Dobriansky paid a brief visit to Hungary on November 2, 2005 to attend the
opening ceremony of the Institute of Democratic Transformation founded
by the Hungarian Government. In her address at the ceremony, she
praised Hungary's role in sharing the experiences it gained in the course
of its democratic transformation. Under Secretary of State
Dobriansky also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Ferenc Somogyi during
the visit.
