Town of Taszár Remembers 9/11

In a note written to the Ambassador Simonyi, Mayor Sándor Pataki and the town of Taszár, where the Free Iraqi Forces (FIF) trained last year, remember the victims of 9/11. Taszár's airbase had served as a base for U.S, and other NATO troops as early as 1995 during the war in Bosnia, before being offered by the Hungarian government as a training facility for FIF troops prior to the Iraq war.
