Hungarian Soldier Dies in Iraq
A 27 year-old sergeant died in a roadside bomb attack on the convoy of the 300-strong Hungarian transportation unit stationed in Iraq.
Ambassador András Simonyi and the Embassy staff extend their deepest condolences to the family of the hero, whose remains arrived at Budapest Sunday evening.
The national flag in the garden of the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary flies
at half-mast in remembrance of the fallen soldier.
