Ambassador Simonyi and Mrs.
Náda P. Simonyi led members of the Embassy of Hungary and other Hungarian
participants in the 15th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, held in
Washington, D.C. this Saturday.
The five-kilometer race is
an annual event organized by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
The foundation was created by Nancy Goodman Brinker, the former ambassador
of the United States to Hungary, in memory of her sister, and the full
proceeds of the race are put toward breast cancer research.
