Zoltán
Lomnici and Pál Solt, Chairman and former Chairman of the Supreme
Court of the Republic of Hungary, attended the 11th
International Judicial Conference "Courts of Ultimate Appeal XI:
Issues of Judicial Independence" held in Washington D. C. May 21-23,
2003.
During
their stay in Washington D.C., the Hungarian judges visited the U.S.
Congress, met with Congressman Tom Lantos, and had talks with
Assistant Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
