Annual Meeting of Heads of Hungarian Representations in the U.S.

The Hungarian Embassy hosted the annual meeting of the heads of Hungarian representations in the U.S. on December 3–4, 2009. The Hungarian Consul Generals in Los Angeles and New York, and Hungary’s Honorary Consuls from around the U.S. attended the conference. The conference also provided a good opportunity to take stock and exchange views on the ways to strengthen the Hungarian presence throughout the United States in the fields of economic, cultural, scientific and technological cooperation.

The overview of US-Hungarian economic relationship was particularly informative thanks to the presentation by Mr. Géza Vass, Director General of the Department of Bilateral Relations (Non-European and CIS countries) of the Ministry for National Development and Economy.
