Letter of Intent

Hungary’s Foreign Minister Kinga Göncz and US Ambassador in Hungary April H. Foley signed a letter of intent on the schedule of transferring the properties including the so-called Táncsics Prison. According to the letter of intent, the details of the transfer will be finalized within six months. The signing of the document is another important step toward the settlement of the property rights of the building which was a topic on the agenda of the meeting between President George W. Bush elnök and Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány Ferenc in Budapest last June.
