Opera Singer Piroska Pándy and the Gypsy Band of Ferenc Sánta, Jr.

Ms. Piroska Pándy, private singer of the Hungarian National Opera and Kossuth prize winning violinist Ferenc Sánta, Jr. and his Gypsy band gave a sold-out concert of Hungarian dances by Johannes Brahms and Ferenc Liszt, Hungarian Operettas by Imre Kálmán and Ferenc Lehár, and traditional Hungarian folk songs on Tuesday, March 3, 7pm at the Embassy of Hungary.

Ms. Pándy and the four-men-band are currently touring the United States and the Canada: they had given concerts in Toronto, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston and Florida before arriving at Washington, DC, continuing in New Brunswick, Boston and Ottawa.
