Hungarian Presence at the Grand Festival of the Francophonie

More than 35 embassies, governments and associations presented their respective cultures and shed light on the rich traditions and culinary specialties of the French-speaking world in the Grand Festival of Francophonie in La Maison Française of the French Embassy in Washington, DC on Friday, March 6 from 7pm till 11pm.

The Embassy of Hungary stand displayed information in French on a wide range of topics, from Hungarian history through culture to gastronomy

The Hungarian stand also offered delicious samples of Hungarian food and wine, and was consequently "raided and forayed" during the evening of the Festival at the Maison.

Francophonie guests could also get a taste of Badacsonyi Pinot Grigio from 2006 and Hilltop Cabernet Franc from 2004
