Farewell Reception to Embassy Diplomats

 

After ending their four-year mission, two Hungarian Diplomats were given a farewell reception by Ambassador Ferenc Somogyi in the Grand Hall of the Embassy of Hungary on Thursday, July 2. Ambassador Somogyi thanked both Press Attaché Zoltán Fehér and Congressional Liaison András Juhász for their work in Washington, DC.

Former US Ambassador to Budapest Nancy Goodman Brinker praised the achievements and experiences of the two Hungarian diplomats. Ambassador Brinker, the former US Chief of Protocol, who now is the US Ambassador accredited to the WHO, expressed her gratitude to Diplomats Fehér and Juhász for their many efforts to strengthen US-Hungarian bilateral relations.

The farewell reception was attended by diplomats from the State Department, Hungarian Correspondents accredited to Washington, DC, American journalists, members of the Hungarian American community and the Washington Diplomatic Corps.
