Hungarian Conservative Leader Ibolya Dávid in Washington

 

 

The President of the Hungarian Democratic Forum (MDF), Mrs. Ibolya Dávid was in Washington from April 13-18th. Mrs. Dávid met with Congressman Tom Lantos (D-CA), the Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-FL), State Department officials, and she had discussions with Zbigniew Brzezinski and Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

Among her several meetings, Mrs. Dávid visited the Heritage Foundation, CSIS, the International Republican Institute and the US Holocaust Museum as well. MDF is the second, center-right conservative opposition party with 11 seats in the Hungarian Parliament.
