The fifth annual gathering of young Hungarian professionals took place at the Embassy on Saturday, March 24^th. The “Homecoming Forum” was organized together by the American-Hungarian Foundation and the Embassy: young Hungarian and Hungarian-American scientists, researchers, engineers and businesspeople discussed again the ways of building contacts with Hungary.

The keynote speaker of the Forum was Mr. George Atkinson, Science and Technology Adviser to the Secretary of State. Mr. Atkinson spoke about the strong interaction between science and diplomacy, and the possible cooperation between the US and Hungary in this respect.  

Representatives of young Hungarian professionals arrived from the Washington Metropolitan area, the East Coast ( New York , Buffalo , Boston , North Carolina ) and other parts of the USA .
